Snapshot is one of the global export tools available in the Hyperon system.
This functionality allows you to export to migrate selected parts of the configuration to the .zip file and import this into another environment.
The contents of the .zip file are a directory structure with plain text files, making it easy to work with
the version control system if you need another place to manage configuration versions.
Hyperon allows the user to export [1] and import [2] snapshot.
The snapshot export functionality allows you to export selected data configuration elements from
one separated environment to import them to another.
The result of the export will be a package of files in .zip format [1] to download [2].
If you want to perform a snapshot export, Hyperon allows you to choose the elements that you want to be in it from among the items:
1. domain
2. functions
3. parameters
4. profiles
5. tags.
Elements can be selected freely.

You can mark the checkbox „remove elements not included in snapshot” [3] - this functionality will
remove every element on the new environment, which is not included in a snapshot export.
The snapshot export file can include only data marked by a specific tag when you select tag by filter [4].
